What can I expect at check–in?
We will have a Wellness Checkpoint located in our coffee area near the HighRidge Kids check–in counter. We will NOT be asking every HighRidge Kids staff member, volunteer, and child to have their temperature taken before checking in to HighRidge Kids anymore. However, we will do temperature checks if we feel it’s necessary at any point. Our volunteers will continue asking health-related questions at check-in. Parents and guardians, please do your part by staying aware of your child’s health state, and adhere to our normal health guidelines. Once you are cleared at that checkpoint, you may proceed to the check–in counter. There will be HighRidge Kids volunteers assisting you at the check-in counter to create a touchless experience.
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of our HighRidge Kids, our Wellness Checkpoint volunteers will do the following things:
How are you cleaning the HighRidge Kids area?
We have increased hygiene and cleaning protocols in our HighRidge Kids spaces before, during, and after each service. We will also be taking breaks during our class time to clean your children’s hands with safe, age–appropriate cleaning products. We will serve snacks and water in our classrooms. We will wear gloves when we hand out food and water.
Before Service: Each toy will be cleaned before service with a water/bleach bath. Each surface will be wiped down or sprayed down with Clorox disinfectant cleaner. Each bathroom toilet, sink, and surface will be cleaned with Clorox disinfectant wipes.
During Service: We will be cleaning hands with Purell Hand Sanitizer for ages 4-12. We will be cleaning hands with Mama Bear Face and Hand Wipes for ages 0-3. In our infant room, disposable booties will be worn over volunteers’ shoes to protect our crawlers.
After Service: Each toy will be sprayed down with Clean Smart Toy Disinfectant Spray. Each surface will be wiped down or sprayed down with Clorox disinfectant cleaner. Each bathroom toilet, sink, and surface will be cleaned with Clorox disinfectant wipes.

How can I help?
Make sure that you and your children use hand sanitizer or wash your hands before entering HighRidge Kids. To limit traffic, we ask that you only send one parent into HighRidge Kids for drop-off and pick-up.
If you have further questions, please contact Hannah Williams.
