As your Group is getting started, go around the Group and have everyone report a win that has happened since the previous meeting. A win is anything good that God has done in your life.

Psalm 23:4
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Are you, or have you been in the valley of shadows?
Are you moving forward, or have you stopped in the valley?
“The battles we fight in this life are not about who we have been, but rather, who we are becoming.”
NEXT STEPS
If anyone in your group is being called to lead a small group, suggest that they start praying about how they can seize the opportunity to lead the people around them. Encourage them not to wait until the last minute and ask them if they want to become your “assistant small group leader” so they can start taking steps in that direction.
LEADER TIPS
Midway through this week, send a follow-up email/text message to your group with some or all of the following:
- “How have you heard God speak today?”
- A note of encouragement
Follow up on any specific prayer requests mentioned during your Group meeting.
