UNITE Free Sneaks Event
This outreach is part of the Unite Leadership initiative to bring churches together to accelerate change in the families and communities of our city. This event is designed specifically to bless the families of the 75602 community with free sneakers for kids with food and fun for the whole family. Our Goal is to represent God well by providing and excellent event for the participating families.
On Saturday, August 7th, teams from participating church’s will meet at Thrive Longview for the noon to 4:00 pm event. Prior to the event, families will register for the sneakers and show up to collect them at the Thrive Longview location and enjoy their time there. We expect to giveaway 300 pairs of sneakers and provide bless close to 1000 people.
Event Details:
-Meet at Thrive Longview Campus (600 W. Garfield Dr.) at 10:30am to receive location assignments, specific instructions, and prepare each area.
-The event will be primarily be divided into the following six areas where you can choose to serve:
- Gate Registration
- Food
- Fun Activities
- Safety/Parking
- General Site Logistics
- Sneaker Distribution
