Year I Joined HighRidge: Joined the Staff in 2017

Family: I’m married to Chris Englerth, we have three beautiful children, Clara Jane, Josiah, and Atticus.

My Salvation Story: When I was 5 years old, my dad sat with me on the edge of my bed at bed time and led me in a Salvation prayer. That was the beginning a lifelong journey of learning who Jesus is, and choosing to follow Him for my whole life. I’ll never forget that first moment of faith and I am so grateful for my amazing father who led me in that prayer.

Education: Graduated from Longview Christian School and Christ for the Nations Institute

Previous Line of Work: Stay at Home Mom!

Best Thing Someone’s Said to Me: “You don’t always have to be blooming to be growing.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 – “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

Life Motto: Psalm 57:8-9 – “Awake, my glory! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations.”

Two People I’d Like to Meet: You! I love meeting new people! Myself in 20 years. That girl has her life together.

My Heroes (Besides Jesus): My grandmother, Clara Payne. She has been a rock of faith for our family and modeled unwavering trust and worship to the Lord. Also my mom and dad for being amazing parents. They raise me to love Jesus, and as I grew up had the courage to be vulnerable and show me and my siblings how much they have needed God’s grace in their lives. It taught me how to rely on the love and grace of Jesus for everything, and to extend the grace I so desperately need to the people around me.

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: I’ve had some incredible experiences in God’s presence, but I have to say, every time I get to lead worship and I see people responding to Him with freedom and love, I feel like I’m in heaven. I’ve done it in 4 countries, many different states, for 18 years, and it never gets old. The testimonies of God touching hearts, minds, healing inner wounds, and setting people free from fear and addictions… I could go on for days. There is nothing better than worshipping God with His people and watching Him connect to his people. If you want to know some of my personal experiences in God’s presence, come ask me some time!

Most People Don’t Know This About Me: I’m a really good knitter and can feel any kind of yarn and tell you what kind of fiber it’s made from. #fibernerd

One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating: I find fascinating people that have whole-heartedly pursued a skill and are outliers in their field. I’m always interested to see what drives them, and why they love their field. Also Michelin starred chefs, creative geniuses, Crossfit champions, etc. #gohardorgohome
